-
Can same sex couples enter?
Yes! Of course! Love knows no bounds, so our competition is open to any and all couples.
-
Can we enter the competition even if we have won before?
Previous Grand Prize winners, of the last 5 years, who have won a cash prize in any of our annual Competitions, are ineligible to win another Grand Prize. No person or persons at the same residential address may win more than one prize valued at R1,000 or more via any of our Competitions in any six (6) month period.
-
Can we enter multiple times?
No. Only one entry per couple is permitted. Duplicate entries will be deleted. Friends and family will get confused if you and your partner enter separately. If you have duplicated your entry and we have not picked it up during our checks, please email [email protected] so that we can assist in removing any duplicates.

Can we vote for ourselves?
Yes! You can vote for yourselves. However; the promoters support and encourage responsible voting at all times.
We will offer many ways to obtain free votes throughout the competition for registered users; Bonus Codes, Bonus Days, Riddles to solve and Puzzle to complete, as well as daily free votes for niks, nadda, zilch.
This is not a competition to see how much you can vote for yourself. We do not want couples to buy their prize. We want couples to take part in the competition using fun free ways to vote and to share your entry with others so they can join in the fun too.
Please also note that entries over a certain limit will be paused so don't try to accumulate too many votes early on. Remember this is a marathon and not a sprint. Paused entries will be reactivated 14 days before the end of the competition. If you're paused too early in the competition you will not be able to take advantage of many of these Bonus Codes, Bonus Days, Riddles and Puzzles.

We are receiving an ‘Oops entrant is not recognised’ SMS reply after voting
If you have received an SMS response message from us with the following message ‘ Oops, We didn’t recognise the entrant you are voting for or you are voting incorrectly. Please refer to cutify.co.za. Errors will be billed.’ then you are voting in the incorrect format.
For 5 votes send unique voting ID to 42037 Example: cc210300 (Cost R2.00/ R0.40 per vote)
For 40 votes send unique voting ID to 38636 Example: cc210300 (Cost R10.00/ R0.25 per vote)
For 150 votes send unique voting ID to 42033 Example: cc210300 (Cost R30.00/ R0.20 per vote)
Some common problems that result in error messages include:
Sending in the entrants’ name and not the unique voting ID.
Adding a space(s) first before entering your unique voting ID (sometimes this happens when you copy and paste).
Adding other extra characters, words, or phrases.
Using an invalid voting ID or using a unique voting ID from one of our other competitions.
Because it is not obvious that you have inadvertently included a space or spaces when viewing your mobile phone screen, it is better to start a new SMS message when submitting your unique voting ID.
SMS voting is not available on FNB Connect.
Please note that errors will be billed and cannot be reversed.
Please contact us to request Cute Couple search for your SMS message and allocate the votes to the correct entrant. We allocate votes periodically throughout the competition.
-
We are not receiving an SMS response after voting via SMS
SMS voting is not available on the FNB Connect network.
Free and bundled SMS packages do not apply
All votes cast by SMS will receive an SMS response message from Cute Couple SA confirming receipt and confirming the number of votes cast.
If you have not received an SMS response message after voting it could be for the following reasons. (Please note it could take at least 30 minutes to receive the response message).
All votes are updated on our website at least 12 hours later.
Reason 1. You are messaging to the incorrect short code. Please use either 42037 (Costs R2); 38636 (costs R10) or 42033 (costs R30)
Reason 2. Ensure network coverage, phone settings and contract allows for sending Premium Rated SMS Services. (PRSMS). Google 'activate premium SMS service on my mobile device' for more details.
Reason 3. Insufficient credit or message not sent. Ensure you are topped up with prepaid airtime (not data or SMS bundles). Some contracts don't allow access to PRSMS without using prepaid airtime.
Reason 4: Network/Contract limits. If you have previously voted and received response SMS confirmations and now not receiving them then it is likely that your network or contract has a limit on how many premium rate SMS’s you can send during a month. Adjust your limit on your phone: Vodacom *135# MTN *136*5# Telkom dial 180.
We would love to advise all voters on what the issue may be but unfortunately due to the fact there are so many networks, contracts and phones on the market we are simply unable to pinpoint what the issue may be. SMS voting is only available to mobile network subscribers and providers within South Africa. Your network will be able to advise accordingly.

Why has our entry been paused?
Remember the Cute Couple SA competition is a marathon, not a sprint.
The promotor may pause couples for the following reasons:
1. Couples who have 85,000+ votes will be automatically paused until Friday 17th March 2023.
2. Couples will be paused if the competition promotor needs to carry out checks and/or investigate extreme voting or if our system raises fraudulent voting warnings.
3. Couples who have been flagged to the competition promotor by a member of the public or our team for disregarding the rules or terms & conditions could be paused.
The promotor aims to complete its checks and/or investigation within 24 - 48 hours (Monday - Friday).

How do elimination rounds work?
There are 3 eliminations rounds held during the competition on Thursday the 10, 17 and 24 March 2022.
Voting criteria is set for each elimination round, for example, in the first elimination round we may eliminate couples who are not actively taking part in the competition.
Entrants are notified via SMS if they have made the elimination round or not. This is usually done by 14:00 on the day of the elimination. It is strongly advised not to vote on the elimination day until you have been notified if you have made it through or not.
If you have made it through the elimination round then all votes are carried through and not returned to 0. It is entirely up to you if you wish to carry on voting or stop.
If you have been removed from the competition after an elimination round we will remove their picture from the website on the day of the elimination. Please don’t continue to vote as votes will not be counted. We encourage you to tell those voting for you to stop too as these votes will not be counted.

-
Why not a panel of judges to decide the Cute Couple SA winner?
Cute Couple SA runs an annual interactive competition rather than a subjective one. A panel of judges would be subjective in deciding who the winner should be.
We want our competition to be fun, interactive and entertaining.
-
Is Cute Couple SA a scam?
Cute Couple SA is run by Cutify Media & Marketing (Pty) Ltd who has been running the Cute Couple SA competition for 6 years.

Our Cute Baby competition has been running since October 2014 with Cute Kid SA launching in 2015. Cute Pet SA was launched in 2016. We launched Cute Couple SA in 2017 and Super Cute SA in 2018. We have spent years perfecting our competitions and invest heavily in development. We are not perfect and are open to constructive feedback at how we can improve our competitions.
You can also check out our Facebook pages for each – Cute Baby, Cute Kid, Cute Pet, Cute Couple and Super Cute.
We wish to remind the South African public to be extremely wary of copycat sites operating similar competitions in South Africa. Some of these competitions are fraudulent and there are no prize payouts.
